Greatest Power Foreign Languages and Computer Training Center was founded in August 1998. There were seven languages initially; English, French, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai and Italian. By November 1999, two more languages German and Russian were added. Translation, Grammar, Phonetics, Journalism, basic and intermediate level were added. Center II, 177, Seikkanthar Street, was annexed in January 2000.
Computer application course and summer school for kids were opened in 1999. Students can study both language and computer at the same place. From March 2000, computer teaching was extended to include Programming, Web page design, and multimedia flash and professional subjects by experienced instructors.
Mhan Aung Island, Rakhine state, saw new classes of Greatest Power center for proliferation of IT and English language. In e-learning system, language software was put in network for student downloading. User account, hourly cards, monthly cards were arranged to contribute in the development of education and IT in Myanmar as best as possible.
The world is changing so fast with new technologies developing incredibly. Information technology and gad sets are evolving all over the world.
Computers are increasingly used world wide and internet enables the world including Myanmar to Connect and do the functions more efficiently.
Myanmar is trying to improve the use of computer and IT technology. It is essential in developing the country. Greatest Power is contributing in this aspect by arranging training classes.
Since its founding up to today, Greatest Power has been striving by training people in Government Departments and organizations, Business group and companies, Joint-Ventures and workplaces and Super Markets. Moreover, the school tried and intended to connect the trainees with international institutions and Schools for further-study. Riding the wave of globalization, Greatest Power is helping individuals achieve communicating abilities, foreign languages skill (reading, writing, speaking) by opening relevant classes.
